The latest International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA)/CPI report, Global Landscape of Energy Transition Finance 2025, highlights that global investments in energy transition technologies reached a record USD 2.4 trillion in 2024, driven by renewables, energy efficiency, grids, electrified transport, and battery storage. While mature technologies continue to see steady growth, investment in nascent areas like green hydrogen and CCS declined.Despite this progress, funding still falls short of what is needed to meet climate goals. According to IRENA, renewable energy investments must nearly double, and energy efficiency funding must grow more than sevenfold by 2030.
At ALEC Energy, we remain committed to accelerating the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon future through innovative solar and clean-energy solutions.
